Once upon a time, ryan the sysadmin decided to change the OS running Slipgate. Unfortunately for the villagers, the gods of backward compatibility frowned on MySQL, saying that the mighty sysadmin should have first upgraded from version three to version four to version five rather than directly from version three to five.

This resulted in database-driven parts of the website ceasing function, and they shal continue to lack function until the mighty sysadmin takes the path laid out by some fool in a far off land who is unable fathom the idea of someone skipping an update to mysql.

So anyway, if you're here, you've probably noticed that this page has been empty for something like six months now. I'm not really to fussed on whether or not it gets going again any time soon, as I have plenty of things to keep me busy at the moment.
